Ruby (known at the shelter as "Ripley") is an energetic girl. She loves to chase lizards and has a lot of fun chasing the water from the garden hose. Four days a week, she is in a crate during the work day with no accidents. Jim has been her foster dad since mid April. She had played with my German shepherd and a few of her foster pup family. She likes to carry toys around and hasn't shown any destructive behaviors. She's a medium hair dog and sheds moderately. At the shelter, she was very timid in the kennel and potential adopters didn't give her a second look because she was shy, but at her foster home, she's much happier and very playful. She is very food motivated and needs a family that can keep up with her activity level.

Please note: We are not a shelter. We do not have a kennel or facility that you can visit and see all the Animals. Each Animal is fostered in an individual home. So, you cannot come visit our animals until you have gone through the application and brief phone interview process and then we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal and their foster parents. Then the next step would be a 1 week sleepover, so before finalizing we can all make sure it's a perfect fit. We are all volunteers and do this in our spare time, we do not have set "hours" and we answer all calls and emails as quickly as we can. Thank you so much for your interest in our FUR Babies!
