About Rosie

Meet Rosie! This precious girl is a 3-year-old American Shorthair who is looking for her new fur-ever home! She’s a big gal with a big heart, who will love you unconditionally!

Rosie is on the lazier side, as she loves to watch tv, nap, and cuddle on your feet. Due to her thick size she loves to lean on you while sleeping, which is the cutest thing. While she is a big kitty, she doesn’t really eat a lot. She does love fresh ice water though; it’s her special treat! Her foster thinks her previous owner fed her scraps, because she runs when she hears the fridge open!

Rosie follows you around the house, and she’s attracted to tv or talking – she wants to be where the action is! She sleeps almost all day while her foster is at work. She gives definition to the term “cat nap”. She’s a quiet girl, except when she is meowing/chirping at the birds .

Rosie can be a shy kitty at first, but once she gets to know you she becomes very affectionate. She’s super sweet and just wants someone to lie with and watch tv! Very chill, very quiet, very sweet, very chunky – she’s a doll!

Rosie would love to have an owner that loves to have her around and spend the time with her that she deserves. She gets along with other cats, but she does prefer the litter box to be as clean as possible! She would make a great companion for someone older, or someone with a less active lifestyle. Mostly she just needs someone willing to help her keep a healthy and balanced diet.

If you think Rosie is the right companion for you, apply to adopt her today!
