I am King George. I am the very best cat ever. I love everyone, and I like to talk to you and tell you about my day. I used to roam a neighborhood, and all the neighbors said they loved me, but no one really cared for me, and when I was finally picked up by animal control as a stray, no one came to claim me as theirs. I am about 10 years old, and was already neutered, but I must not have been vaccinated, because I am FIV positive. Not to worry, I will still live a long and healthy life, and I can live with FIV negative cats without passing on the virus, but because of this, my adoption fee will be waived for the right family. I really hope you call or email about me. I would like to find my true forever home, but I am also in need of a foster home right now too. If you have questions about FIV, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask! The nice people who are caring for me asked me to let you know that all the adoptable cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a broad spectrum dewormer. Adult cats are also tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. The adoption fee for each cat is $75.00 (But we frequently have specials too, so be sure to ask!) If you decide to apply for me or another animal, you can complete the application online here: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/570/generic If you would like to email or call, you can reach us here: mustangshelterfriends@gmail.com or 405-578-4738 Our volunteers would love to talk to you about us, but please allow time for them to get back to you, they do this in their free time, and will try to hurry! show less

My name is Heidi. I'm a very sweet girl, smart, and very well behaved, and I have an adorable little docked tail. I would prefer a home without other dogs or cats, although I am not dog aggressive, and I like to play with them, I just don't like to share with other dogs. I do just find with all the other dogs in my foster home, but require rules and structure to keep things running smoothly. I am housetrained and crate trained, although I don't need to be in a crate.I am a very special girl, and would be wonderful as an only pet. If you're looking for a dog that is already trained and ready to be your sweetheart, I'm your girl, so I really hope you call or email about me.The nice people who are caring for me asked me to let you know that all the dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for each dog is $100.00 (But we frequently have specials too, so be sure to ask!) I am a very timid girl. I spent over a month roaming Hwy 152 in Mustang going back and forth between the Valero gas station and the On Cue station. People fed me, but no one could catch me. I was finally caught in a live animal trap and brought to the shelter. For a long time I would eat, and take food from people, and let them pet me, but I wouldn't move. I would just lie in the corner at the shelter, and try to be invisible. Now that I am in a home, I am learning to relax and to trust, but will need lots of time and understanding, and may never be like a "normal" dog. I really do like to play with other dogs and I'm fine with cats too. My foster posted a video of me the first time I started to play with the other dogs in my foster home. https://www.facebook.com/claudia.bechtold.7/videos/10212177274541444/ I am about 3 years old. I'm house trained and crate trained. I am very sweet, although I am still timid and require a home that wants to help me continue to grown, and can keep me secure, since I am still a large flight risk. The nice people who are caring for me asked me to let you know that all the dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and given a broad spectrum dewormer . The adoption fee for each dog is $100.00 (But we frequently have specials too, so be sure to ask!)
